In April 2012, we made a radical change in our eating habits as well as some other lifestyle changes. We had been searching for a way to help our autistic child naturally without resorting to medicine. Through a friend's recommendation, I found the Feingold Elimination Diet. You can learn all about it here, but basically the diet eliminates artificial food colors, artificial flavors, three preservatives, and some foods with salicylic acid. Since the start of this diet, we have seen major changes in our son and know it is worthy of continuing. I spend a lot of time experimenting in the kitchen to come up with Feingold-friendly recipes that are also kid-friendly. You can find all these recipes right here, and this page will be updated regularly with new recipes.
